A-DERMA Exomega D.E.F.I Avoine Rhealba

The use of external drugs containing non-hormonal components contributes to reducing risks and complications from long-term therapy with topical corticosteroids and allows increasing adherence of patients to ongoing therapy.
Purpose of the study. Evaluation of the clinical efficacy of dermatocosmetic agents (emollient cream and softening balm) A-DERMA Exomega D.E.F.I Avoine Rhealba as part of complex therapy of atopic dermatitis (ADD). Material and methods. Under our supervision, there were 300 female and male patients diagnosed with AtD of varying severity. The age of the patients ranged from 6 months to 61 years and averaged 26 years 9 months in the group of adult participants in the study, 6 years and 7 months in the juvenile group. The average age of debut disease is 1 year 4 months. The severity of AD was assessed on a 6-point scale based on an overall assessment of skin lesions and the PO-SCORAD scale (patient-oriented SCORAD scale). As an external therapy, the participants of the study were assigned a softening cream or A-DERMA Exomega D.E.F. I softening balm, which the patients were applied to the face and body skin 1 to 2 times a day. The course duration was 1 to 2 months in both groups of patients. Main results. Application of sterile dermato-cosmetic means A-DERMA Exomega D.E.F.I within 4-8 weeks as a part of complex therapy allows to reduce the frequency of application of topical corticosteroids, strengthens the natural protective properties of the skin, contributes to the reduction of subjective sensations. Key words: atopic dermatitis, external therapy, efficacy, sterile cosmetics.
